Peace in #Bangsamoro is peace for the entire Philippines.
From 10 to 11 January 2024, the OPAPRU , representatives from women, religious leaders, youth, indigenous peoples, academe, and other civil society partners pledged their commitment to the Bangsamoro peace process through the ‘Reconvening Ceremony Towards a Bangsamoro Peaceful Constituency.’
This event—spearheaded by Principles for Peace and co-organized by the Initiatives for International Dialogue, INCITEGov, GZO Peace Institute , and GPPAC-Southeast Asia — helped coordinate peace efforts, promoted peace principles, and strengthened whole-of-nation stakeholders’ solidarity for the successful implementation of the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro (CAB).
As we all walk hand-in-hand in accompaniment of the peace process, may our initiatives be a page in the story of building a harmonious and just Bangsamoro.
