Gus Miclat, of Initiatives for International Dialogue, which also serves as secretariat for the All-Out Peace platform, explains the objectives and value for the “Barug Dabaw, Barug Mindanaw” day of peace observance slated for September 21. Gus explained that it was necessary for various efforts to come together to underscore the importance of peace, particularly with the mixed perceptions, history and significance attached with the month of September, September 21, and the overall message of peace and resiliency in Davao during the nationally declared month of peace.
