Dubbed “FROM BULLETS TO BALLOTS”: Bangsamoro Learning Visit to Timor Leste on Political Party Transformation Towards Democratic Governance, Transitional Justice and Post Conflict Peace-building and Development Challenges”, key leaders from the Bangsamoro and Philippine civil society visited Timor Leste on December 8-13, 2019.
For five (5) days, the Bangsamoro solidarity visit to Timor Leste covered a number of thematic concerns and issues from exchanges of experiences and knowledge on political transformation, roles of civil society and international financial institutions in a post-conflict context, roles of the youth and women, transitional justice approaches, addressing the issues of the indigenous peoples, including good practices in state building and self-governance.
